Founder & Director

Vera Sarkisyan

As the founder, creator, and director of Little Me Learning Academy, Vera brings over 20 years of experience nurturing and educating children. Originally from Armenia, she earned her AA in child development and her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from National University of San Diego, and she is fluent in English and Armenian.

TK Teacher · “Magic Garden”

Now in her fifth year at Little Me Learning Academy, Rose leads our Transitional Kindergarten class, preparing children for kindergarten. She holds a BA in Organizational & Intercultural Communications and is pursuing a Master’s in Educational Therapy at CSUN, focusing on language development, dyslexia, and ADHD.

Preschool Teacher

Silvia brings a strong background in behavior therapy and several years of experience with children of all ages and stages. She earned her BA in Psychology from CSU Northridge and is working toward a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. She loves a positive, hands-on classroom where every child can explore, imagine, and grow.

Preschool Teacher

A 2025 honors graduate in Early Childhood Education, Lydia brings 3+ years of experience and a passion for warm, hands-on learning. She loves sparking curiosity and creativity, enjoys music and movement with the children, and even teaches them some Spanish.

Elen holds a BA in Linguistics with a minor in Teaching and an AA in Social Welfare, and is a mother of two. Born in Armenia and raised in Russia, she speaks four languages and believes every child has something special that can be built upon.

Luiza studied early childhood education in Armenia and has been working with children for three years. A mother of two, she loves learning new things and creating a happy classroom where children feel excited to learn.

Dedicated to education since 2000, Astghik began her journey in child development in Armenia and earned her AA in Child Development from Los Angeles Valley College. She strives to be a mentor, a listener, and a steady source of encouragement for every student and family.

Preschool Teacher · Armenian

With four years of experience and a background in law, Narine followed her passion for child development into the classroom. She creates a warm, engaging environment and loves helping children stay connected to their Armenian language and heritage through songs, movement, and creative play.

Language Arts & Creative Expression

Teacher Lucy leads English language, early literacy, storytelling, art, and science exploration. She’s passionate about building strong communication skills while inspiring creativity, and believes every child is unique and deserves meaningful experiences where they can shine.

Lusine Virabyan (“Mrs. Lucy”)

Armenian Language Teacher

Lusine teaches Armenian letters, reading, grammar, and early math in Armenian, helping children stay connected to their culture and heritage. She holds a bachelor’s in Journalism from Yerevan State University and a degree in education sciences, and is a certified preschool teacher through LACC.
